Oily skins suffer from excess secretion of the sebum, which gives them sheir shiny coatiing.
The excessive amount of sebum stops the discarding of dead cells, subsequently causing a thicker
epidermis. Treatments must produce three effects. (1) Slow down seborrheic secretion and alleviate the luster of the skin, (2)
reduce skin thickening, (3) diminish pore dilation.
